Phu Luong Commune Party Committee, Phu Vang District organizes Party admission for young people before they leave for military service.

According to information from the Military Command of Hue City, in the 2025 military recruitment, more than 1,570 new recruits will be handed over to the receiving units including: City Military Command, City Border Guard Command, General Department of Engineering, brigades of Military Region IV: 16, 80 and 414, Division 324, Capital Command and City Police.

The selection and calling of citizens to join the army was carried out in accordance with regulations, ensuring objectivity and fairness; 100% of young people wrote applications to volunteer to join the army. The percentage of young people who passed the recruitment was between the ages of 18-27; of which, 76.3% had health conditions of type 1 and type 2. Notably, this year, there were 3 young women who volunteered to join the army in A Luoi district, Thuan Hoa district and Huong Thuy town; 34 young people were admitted to the Party before leaving (25 in the army, 9 in the police); 116 citizens had intermediate, college and university degrees (8.6%); 63.6% had high school degrees...

2025 is the first year that military service examinations are carried out according to Circular 105/2023/TT - BQP of the Ministry of National Defense, effective from January 1, 2024. This Circular provides more specific regulations on health standards and supplements paraclinical techniques during the examination process such as X-ray, ultrasound, blood tests, etc. to support doctors in making more accurate diagnoses, improving the quality of military recruitment, and limiting the situation of compensation after military service.

From 2024 to present, localities in the province have focused on military recruitment, organizing strict, fair and proper preliminary examinations. 100% of eligible citizens have received their enlistment orders. Up to this point, the mental and health status of new recruits are all good, ready to go to fulfill their duties. The City Military Command - the Standing Office of the City Military Service Council has organized inspection teams in all districts, towns and cities to ensure that the military transfer and reception work takes place according to plan.

Before the departure date, localities organized many practical activities to encourage new recruits. The program "Military Day" took place on the afternoon of February 13, 2025 (ie January 16, At Ty year) with many meaningful activities such as: Visiting heroic martyrs, planting souvenir trees, cultural and artistic exchanges combined with giving gifts to young people... This is an opportunity for young people to show their determination and spirit of readiness to leave to protect the Fatherland.

The military enlistment ceremony will take place simultaneously at 7:30 a.m. on February 14, 2025 (January 17, At Ty year). Localities throughout the city have fully prepared all conditions for the ceremony to take place solemnly, safely, economically, creating an exciting atmosphere, encouraging the spirit of young people to join the army.

With the active participation of Party committees, authorities, Military Service Councils at all levels and the enthusiastic response of young people, Hue city is determined to successfully complete the military recruitment work in 2025, contributing to building a regular, elite, and gradually modern army.
