In 2025, Van Lang University will turn 30 years old - a meaningful milestone in its journey of construction and development. To celebrate this meaningful and proud milestone, the school has organized many events, including the "VLU RUN 2025 - Van Lang's heroic spirit reaching far".
VLU Run 2025 is more than just a sports tournament
The run is not only a sports activity but also an opportunity for the Van Lang community to work together towards good values: health, solidarity and a sustainable future. "VLU Run 2025" aims to achieve the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal No. 3 - "Good health and well-being", thereby encouraging people to participate in activities to improve physical and mental health.
After more than a month of registration, the 'VLU Run' event has attracted strong interest from the Van Lang University community. It is expected that 7,000 people will participate in the event, including: officials, lecturers, staff, students, alumni and other members of the system. The race is diverse with six categories of distances from 1.5km to 30km, ensuring there is room for all ages and physical abilities.
In particular, the KIDS RUN on March 1 is a place where young athletes can participate and demonstrate their sportsmanship from an early age, with a distance of 1.5km. Other distances such as 3km, 5km, 10km, 21km and 30km also open up opportunities for athletes over 18 years old to compete, from beginners to experienced marathon runners.
VLU Run 2025 is an activity in a series of events towards the 30th anniversary of Van Lang University. This is the largest-ever running competition of the university, held at Van Phuc Urban Area, meeting international standards, from the designs for the running track to the Race-kit specifically for the race.
