On February 21, Hue University coordinated with the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh to organize a career orientation conference and provide advice on new points in university admissions in 2025.

Attending the program were leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh, principals of high schools and directors of continuing education centers in the province.

At the program, Dr. Le Van Tuong Lan - Head of Training and Student Affairs Department of Hue University - shared that although the Ministry of Education and Training is finalizing a circular to issue regulations on university admissions in 2025, admissions at Hue University have been implemented for 13 training units.

In 2025, Hue University plans to enroll more than 135 majors and more than 14,000 students according to 6 admission methods. Basically, Hue University will maintain the same admission principles as in 2024 and have some new points to suit the new requirements of 2025.

In which, the new score such as the method of using high school learning results (report card scores) will consider the scores of 4 semesters (2 semesters of grade 11 and 2 semesters of grade 12). In particular, Hue University has many support policies for students who are admitted based on excellence, as well as students with difficult circumstances.

In addition to preferential policies, many member units and units of Hue University have policies committed to students' careers.

For example, at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Hue University, engineering graduates are eligible to work in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and European countries completely free of charge, from training to exit fees.

Through this program, Hue University hopes to spread information to 12th grade students in Ha Tinh province to better understand Hue University, as well as the opportunities and learning environment at Hue University.

In addition, the program organizers also hope to receive feedback from many high school principals about their trust in the quality and training environment of Hue University.

After this event, Hue University will continue to implement many activities to connect and support high school education in Ha Tinh province in the coming time, and will work more closely with the Department of Education and Training in coordinating a number of activities in which Hue University has strengths in high-quality multidisciplinary and multi-field training.
