The International Tourism Fair 2024, taking place from September 17-19 at the Versailles International Exhibition and Fair Center in Paris, is an important event for businesses operating in the field of travel, entertainment, business and corporate travel (MICE), attracting the attention of many experienced experts, distributors, manufacturers and publishers of technology solutions.
Located in the exhibition space of the Asia-Pacific region, this year's Vietnam booth is organized by the Vietnam Culture and Tourism Association in Europe (VCNT), Vietnam Airlines, the Vietnam Cultural Center in France and many Vietnamese enterprises operating in the French market.
According to Ms. Laurence Gaborieau, Director of IFTM Top Resa, the general theme for 2024 is “New sustainable horizons, let's show our responsibility” with the aim of providing common standards, proposing a future vision of tourism, reflecting the current implementation status, encouraging other ecosystems in inspiring and raising awareness.
The three main pillars of the 2024 International Tourism Fair are environment, digital and inclusion, added Ms. Laurence Gaborieau.

The International Tourism Fair is an opportunity to promote information about tourism development, introduce destinations, local products, and the investment environment of Vietnam's tourism industry. The Vietnam Pavilion is a place for businesses with many years of active operations in the French and European markets to meet, seek, and exploit more international business partners and customers.
Attending and speaking at the Vietnam booth, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang emphasized that the country and people of Vietnam are always willing to welcome tourists from all over the world. It can be said that the friendliness and hospitality of all Vietnamese people is a unique and beautiful cultural feature of the Vietnamese people.
Along with that, Vietnam is known to the international community for its many wonderful and diverse landscapes, from the majestic high mountains in the northernmost part of the country, to the clear blue beaches of the central region, or the network of fertile alluvial rivers that have nurtured the Mekong Delta for generations.

Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang expressed his belief that Vietnamese tourism companies and travel agencies participating in the International Tourism Fair 2024 will soon find new cooperation opportunities with French and international partners, contributing to promoting Vietnamese tourism to become a smokeless industry with many attractive potentials and attracting more and more international tourists.
Sharing with Nhan Dan Newspaper reporters based in France, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hoang, Chief Representative of Vietnam Airlines Office in France and Europe, said: "Up to now, all routes operated by Vietnam Airlines in the European market have fully reopened. Notably, the direct routes between Vietnam and France have increased their frequency to ensure effective service for tourists' travel needs." Vietnam Airlines is preparing to launch new flight products to potential markets in Europe.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Hoang also affirmed: This fair is an important opportunity for us to meet, exchange and seek more partners, especially tourism partners to develop together, build tourism programs to bring more European customers to Vietnam in the future.

Also participating at the Vietnam booth, Mr. Julien Pitassi, Director of Digital Technology Consulting of GroupeExpression Company - a partner of Vietnam Airlines, said: The return of Vietnam Airlines to the International Tourism Fair 2024 is a positive sign, because Vietnam Airlines plays an important role in promoting and ensuring the travel needs of international visitors not only to Vietnam, but also to other tourism markets in the Southeast Asian region.
“We are very happy to have been working with Vietnam Airlines for nearly 3 years, to promote to the French public. GroupExpression has worked with many operators, journalists and influencers to help more and more French tourists know about Vietnam's tourism.”
The International Tourism Fair is one of the world's largest professional tourism and travel exhibitions, held annually in Paris in the second half of September. This year, IFTM 2024 attracts the participation of more than 1,600 brands from many countries and territories around the world.
