There is no completely correct answer to the question of how long it takes for the alcohol concentration to reach 0, because depending on each person, the exact time to completely eliminate alcohol from the body will be different.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) standards, a standard drink contains 10g of alcohol equivalent to: 1 cup of 40-degree alcohol (30ml), 1 glass of 13.5-degree wine (100ml), 1 pint of draft beer (330ml), or 3/4 bottle (can) of 5% beer (330ml). Depending on the amount of drink, it will be converted to approximately how many units of alcohol.

For adults with normal health, the liver will eliminate one unit of alcohol every hour. People with impaired liver function or slower metabolism will take longer.

This is an average number. Depending on different physical conditions, this period of time can increase or decrease, such as pathological factors, age, weight, or when the stomach contains a lot of food, the stomach's alcohol absorption rate will be slow and the alcohol excretion rate will also be slow.

Drinking 15 glasses of strong alcohol (about 40 degrees) is equivalent to 15 units of alcohol, the liver will take about 15 hours to eliminate. In addition, after eliminating, the liver needs another 3 hours for the alcohol concentration in the blood to return to 0. Therefore, it takes you about 18 hours to blow the alcohol concentration to stop increasing. Note that even after the liver eliminates all the alcohol concentration, the body still basically needs 2-3 hours to completely eliminate it.

Many people believe that driving after drinking alcohol should be absolutely prohibited. However, some people are concerned because after drinking alcohol, the next day there is still an alcohol concentration, and they are not even aware that they have an alcohol concentration after drinking the day before.

The time it takes for alcohol to go away depends on many factors such as the dosage, the type of beer or wine, the alcohol concentration, how long you drink, whether you drink on an empty stomach or full stomach. One thing is certain: the more beer or wine you drink, the higher the alcohol concentration in your body.
