AI applications in tourism management

Hanoi Department of Tourism organizes a training conference on the use of AI platforms in tourism management.

Speaking at the conference, Director of Hanoi Department of Tourism Dang Huong Giang said that in order to implement Plan No. 402/KH-UBND dated December 31, 2024 of Hanoi People's Committee on digital transformation, building a smart Hanoi city by 2025; Plan of the City People's Committee to implement Resolution No. 03/NQ-CP dated January 9, 2025 of the Government promulgating the Action Program to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on "Breakthrough in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation"; Plan No. 47/KH-SDL dated April 1, 2025 of the Department of Tourism on Digital Transformation and Application of Information Technology in 2025, the Department of Tourism organized a conference to promote, train, foster, and popularize basic digital skills, analysis skills, data mining and digital technology.

Hanoi Department of Tourism will apply AI applications in tourism management and promotion activities. /

This is a professional activity to improve the digital capacity of the Department's staff, civil servants and public employees through accessing and effectively applying artificial intelligence (AI) platforms in management activities. In addition, improving skills in using AI platforms also helps the Department of Tourism effectively apply them to tourism promotion activities in the capital.

“Through the conference, all cadres, civil servants and public employees will gain more valuable knowledge and experience to apply in their work, contributing to building the capital's administration to be increasingly modern, effective and better serve the needs of people and businesses,” Ms. Dang Huong Giang shared.

At the conference, tourism managers were exposed to modern AI technology applications such as: Hanoi Virtual Assistant, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemma, Llama... In addition, students experienced some AI-integrated technology products, such as ASUS NUC 14 Pro AI computer, which helps optimize work thanks to AI Copilot+, quickly process office tasks, analyze data and support creative work.

The conference is the result of effective cooperation between the state management sector and technology enterprises in the digital transformation era.
