Last week, the yuan fell to a record low in international markets and hit its lowest since 2007 in the domestic market, as US-China trade tensions continued to escalate, putting pressure on the Chinese currency.
On the morning of April 15, 2025, the average exchange rate of Chinese Yuan (CNY) at Vietnamese banks was recorded at 3,554 VND/CNY.
VietinBank continues to hold the leading position in buying rates, with the highest rate reaching 3,498 VND for cash transactions and 3,608 VND for transfer transactions.
On the other hand, MSB is the bank with the lowest cash buying rate, only 3,407 VND/CNY. Meanwhile, Techcombank listed the lowest transfer buying rate in the market at 3,358 VND.
In terms of selling, HDBank is offering the lowest cash selling price at 3,571 VND/CNY. Meanwhile, Sacombank offers the lowest transfer selling price at 3,587 VND.
Indovina Bank had the highest cash selling rate of the day at 3,812 VND/CNY. As for transfer transactions, LPBank and OceanBank both listed the highest rate at 3,832 VND.
