“Hoang Hoa Youth Pioneers in Digital Transformation” is the theme of Youth Month 2023 launched by the Standing Committee of Hoang Hoa District Youth Union to promote the pioneering role of the youth force in actively participating in digital transformation in all aspects of work, applying digital technology in real life and improving digital capacity for youth and children.

Talking to us about the implementation of the theme "Hoang Hoa Youth Pioneers in Digital Transformation", Comrade Le Thanh Binh, Secretary of the Hoang Hoa District Youth Union, said: Before implementing the plan of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee on Youth Month in 2023, during the complicated development of the COVID-19 epidemic (2022), the Youth Union force of communes and towns joined with branches, unions, and functional units to "go to every alley, knock on every door" to guide people to install the PC-Covid application as well as create QR codes for convenience when declaring health. Set up zalo and facebook groups to meet and implement the activities of the union during the period of social distancing. This form is still maintained up to now. For example, the fanpage "Hoang Hoa District Youth Union" attracts more than 1,000 followers. From this fanpage, the Youth Union members promptly update information on movements, activities of the Youth Union, good models, typical advanced examples in implementing Plan No. 99/KH-UBND of the District People's Committee on "Landscape improvement, ensuring environmental sanitation in the district in the period of 2019 - 2025"; Plan No. 89/KH-UBND of the District People's Committee on each commune and town building a model village and residential group per year; Project 1089/QD-UBND of the District People's Committee on renovating household gardens, building model gardens in the district in the period of 2021 - 2025... creating a wide spread among the Youth Union members. In addition, the Youth Union members also actively connect and interact with the Youth Union members through Zalo and Facebook applications. The information at the grassroots level is promptly captured by the Youth Union members and responded to faster.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the District Youth Union issued Plan No. 19-KH/ĐTN "On implementing community digital technology group activities in localities" to guide people and households to use online public services and interact with the government via digital platforms; participate in reputable trading floors of domestic enterprises, sales skills via trading floors, electronics; cashless electronic payment skills and other digital applications serving production and business suitable to local conditions. Guide people on skills and use of software to ensure basic network information security; skills to use social networks in a civilized and safe manner; identify and prevent bad and toxic information in digital space. In particular, the District Youth Union regularly coordinates with Hoang Hoa District Police to spread and cover positive information to promptly orient public opinion against bad and toxic information on social networks, through sharing articles on websites and propaganda fanpages of the District Police.

In particular, implementing the Youth Month 2023 with the theme: "Youth pioneering digital transformation", the Standing Committee of Hoang Hoa District Youth Union has deployed an implementation plan, in which it directed the grassroots youth unions to coordinate and actively support the police force in disseminating and guiding people to register and activate electronic identification accounts and online public services; online exams to test the study of the Resolution of the 12th National Youth Union Congress, term 2022-2027; coordinating with the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Education and Training, and the District Veterans Association to launch a writing contest "Learning about 60 years of Hoang Hoa - Dien Ban - Heavy duty, deep affection", in which the delegation designed an Infographic about the contest, built a QR code (including all information about the contest) and widely shared it with cadres, young union members and people on the union's social networking sites.

Especially in March, the district's youth organizations coordinated with the police force of communes and towns to guide and support people to register to use electronic identification codes and online public services in all residential areas in the area; support citizens aged 14 and over to make electronic chip-embedded citizen identification cards.

Currently, Hoang Hoa District Youth Union has 53 youth union bases with more than 11,000 union members. Up to now, 100% of the union bases in the district have completed the registration of the union member training program on the union member management software system at all union bases; thereby, helping to digitize all union member data in the district, at the same time fully and correctly implementing the professional tasks in union work and youth and children's movements. Guiding union members to participate in online testing on studying the Resolution of the National Youth Union Congress, term 2022-2027. Currently, 80% of the document system is sent by email to union organizations in the district...
