Thanh Hoa Power Company (PC Thanh Hoa) has just had a working session with WHA Vietnam Group to confirm the ability to supply electricity to Phu Quy Industrial Park, Hoang Hoa district, invested by WHA Industrial Zone Thanh Hoa Joint Stock Company (WHA Thanh Hoa) - a unit under WHA Vietnam Group.

Pursuant to Document No. 2025-005/WHAIZTH dated January 16, 2025 of WHA Industrial Zone Thanh Hoa Joint Stock Company (WHA Thanh Hoa) on confirming the ability to supply electricity to Phu Quy Industrial Park, Hoang Hoa District, Thanh Hoa Province, on February 7, 2025, Thanh Hoa Power Company (PC Thanh Hoa) represented by Mr. Hoang Hai, Director of the Company, received and worked with WHA Vietnam Group led by Mr. Nha-Vinh, Julien Nguyen, Country Director.

Informing the working delegation of WHA Vietnam, Mr. Hoang Hai, Director of PC Thanh Hoa said: Currently, the Company is deploying and providing types of electricity services with full legal basis according to the provisions of Vietnamese law and implementation capacity such as: Supervision consulting; design consulting; testing/testing/inspection of electrical equipment; management of operation of power lines and transformer stations; construction; repair of electrical works; acceptance; training; cable termination, hotline construction.
With the mission of “Electricity goes one step ahead”, based on objective and fair assessments of partners and customers, Thanh Hoa Electricity Company has full capacity and potential to provide, meet, create the best conditions and is ready to accompany WHA Thanh Hoa throughout the implementation process, continuing to contribute to attracting investment from quality secondary enterprises to the province's industry.
This is also the premise for the Company to continue to cooperate in the Project of Investment in construction and business of infrastructure of WHA Smart Technology 2 industrial park in Giang Quang Thinh industrial park (Thieu Hoa) phase 1 with an area of 174.9 hectares, currently undergoing procedures to be approved in principle.
The Director of PC Thanh Hoa hopes to soon form and realize the infrastructure of 2 industrial parks in a synchronous and modern manner with green standards like the existing industrial parks that WHA Group is owning in the world.

Sharing at the meeting, the Country Director of WHA Group Vietnam expressed his sincere thanks for the enthusiasm, support and companionship of PC Thanh Hoa. He said that WHA Group is a leading developer in the field of logistics and industrial utility solutions in Thailand. Currently, WHA Group has outlined its business strategy to become an ideal place for companies wishing to establish or expand their business not only in Thailand, but also in places with developing industries and industrial utilities such as Vietnam today. Its core competencies are providing international standard facilities, strategic infrastructure locations and the ability to provide one-stop comprehensive service solutions for all customers.
For this project, based on the total area of Phu Quy Industrial Park of 540 hectares, the unit has provisionally calculated and synthesized the total electricity demand of 123.4 MW. Currently, the project is implementing the investment steps to build technical infrastructure, and is expected to start construction of infrastructure in the third quarter of 2025 (according to calculations, it will be divided into 4 phases). This not only requires the source capacity and capacity of the regional power grid supplying the industrial park but also meets the needs of secondary investors who are customers in the industrial park when WHA Thanh Hoa completes the necessary infrastructure for power connection.
Based on the capacity demand, the progress of the project's phases as well as the power source and grid system in Hoang Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province, after the meeting, PC Thanh Hoa agreed in principle to provide enough power for phase 1 of the project to serve the construction of infrastructure with a total expected capacity of 10MW and invest in the 110kV station of Phu Quy industrial park. Based on the functions and tasks, the Company believes in its capacity to be the sole retailer in this industrial park.
