Firmly carry out the mission of developing "Tam Nong"

Proud of more than 36 years of construction and development, associated with the mission of developing "Tam Nong", the branches of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) in the province have continuously developed, becoming "leading birds", playing a key role in contributing to the implementation of Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW of the 13th Party Central Committee on agriculture, farmers, and rural areas by 2030, with a vision to 2045. Thereby, contributing to promoting the construction of new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas in localities.

Mr. Le Ngoc Nam's family in Ha Vu 1 village, Hoang Dat commune (Hoang Hoa) received a loan from Agribank to invest in effective economic development.

Previously, Mr. Le Ngoc Nam's family in Ha Vu 1 village, Hoang Dat commune (Hoang Hoa) did not dare to think that one day they would own a farm with high agricultural production, clean agriculture according to VietGAP standards with a total asset value of up to tens of billions of VND, because at that time he was still a purely agricultural production household, with income depending on a few fields of ordinary vegetables on a small scale. However, through information channels, he grasped the Party's policies and the State's policies on supporting the development of agricultural and rural production and was advised by Agribank credit officers in Hoang Hoa district. The bank invested him with an initial capital of only a few hundred million VND to expand the scale of production. Mr. Nam's family's economic model has grown day by day. Mr. Nam said, “Thanks to the credit policy serving agricultural and rural development, farmers like my family have had favorable access to capital, thereby having the opportunity to invest in production and business. Currently, I am receiving a loan of 2 billion VND from Agribank Hoang Hoa to invest in infrastructure to develop more than 3 hectares of high-tech agricultural production, growing crops such as strawberries, Kim Hoang Hau melons, cucumbers... in greenhouses. My family's farm model is creating jobs for 7 workers with an income of 6 million VND/person/month. Annual revenue reaches nearly 2 billion VND. My family strictly and on time pays principal and interest.”

Not only Mr. Nam's family, thousands of households, cooperatives, and businesses, thanks to loans from Agribank Hoang Hoa, have developed production and business effectively, bringing in hundreds of billions of VND in income each year. In 2024, in the face of many difficulties and challenges, but with the tradition of solidarity and determination, Agribank Hoang Hoa has made continuous efforts in capital mobilization, lending and providing financial services to promote and support rural economic development, contributing to promoting agricultural production and improving people's economic life. The branch has successfully completed its business plan targets, leading the emulation movement to carry out the business tasks of Agribank Bac Thanh Hoa. In addition, Agribank Hoang Hoa has had very practical policies to support people to borrow capital to reduce difficulties and restore production and business, such as reducing interest rates for medium and long-term loans; There have been many times of reduction in new loan interest rates, many preferential interest rate packages for individual customers and businesses. Thanks to that, it has contributed to helping Hoang Hoa district achieve many positive results in developing socio-economic development indicators. Up to now, Hoang Hoa district has 5 model new rural communes; 11 advanced new rural communes and over 100 model new rural villages and model residential groups.

By mid-February 2025, the total mobilized capital of Agribank branches in the province reached more than 60,000 billion VND; total outstanding loans reached more than 68,000 billion VND. With a solid financial foundation, the Agribank system in the province has become a close friend, always accompanying farmers in rural areas of the province. Moreover, to quickly, promptly and best meet the capital needs for economic development of the people, banks have built a network of transaction offices and transaction points covering rural areas with a network of operations in all areas of the province with 3 type I branches, 31 type II branches, 34 transaction offices, 2 mobile transaction points with specialized cars, 88 ATMs/CDMs, 495 POS machines.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Trieu, Director of Agribank Bac Thanh Hoa said: To accompany the people, Agribank branches are always proactive in improving processes, simplifying loan procedures; improving appraisal capabilities to shorten loan processing time, creating conditions for customers to access credit capital. In addition, banks also offer many convenient products and services to customers, especially in rural areas such as: mobile transaction points to communes, expanding ATM systems... ensuring that households have capital to promptly implement business ideas. The investment capital is mainly for agricultural and rural development, helping rural people invest in economic development and stabilize their lives.

In the coming time, Agribank branches in the province will continue to implement mechanisms and policies to support people, businesses, and cooperatives in developing production and business. Thereby, maintaining and promoting the position of a leading commercial bank, playing a leading and key role in implementing the policies of the Party and the State.
