At the Party admission ceremony for outstanding youth union members leaving for military service in Phu Vang

Young man Nguyen Van Hai (residing in Vinh Luong Khe village, Phu Luong commune, Phu Vang district) was honored to hold in his hand the decision to join the Communist Party of Vietnam. Although he had just graduated from high school, since his school days, Hai was deeply aware that the task of building and protecting the Fatherland was the mission and responsibility of today's young generation. Therefore, right after finishing grade 12, Hai wrote a volunteer application to join the Army. As soon as he was recruited, the pride of Hai and his family was doubled when the local Party Committee and government introduced, trained and admitted Hai into the Party in the hope that Hai could continue to make efforts and strive in the Army environment.

Nguyen Van Hai confided: I feel very honored and proud to be in the ranks of the Party before leaving for the army. With responsibility towards my family and my homeland, I promise that after joining the Army, I will continue to strive, study hard and train hard to not disappoint the trust of my parents and friends, especially the favor of the local Party Committee and government.

Young man Le Van Binh Nguyen (residing in Phu My commune, Phu Vang district) is also very proud to be one of the local youths honored to be admitted to the Party this time. As the only child in the family and also the main labor force, Nguyen is always aware of the responsibility of a young man towards the Fatherland. After being encouraged by the locality and family, Nguyen decided to write a volunteer application to join the army to contribute his small part to protect the Fatherland and build his homeland.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Commander of the Military Command of Phu My Commune, Phu Vang District, said: Although Nguyen's family situation is quite difficult, both parents do small business to make ends meet, he volunteered to join the army. Nguyen in the locality has always been a gentle, energetic, enthusiastic young man in the activities of the Union and youth movements. After being encouraged by his family, friends, the local Party Committee and government, he was very determined and wrote a volunteer application to join the army.

In order to create conditions and motivation for young people to join the army, in recent years, the Party branches and Party committees of communes and towns in Phu Vang district have always paid close attention to young people joining the army. In addition to visiting, encouraging, giving gifts and giving savings books to them, Party committees at all levels have organized Party admissions for outstanding young union members who have promoted their pioneering role and are always active in participating in local activities, especially union members and young volunteers who wrote applications to join the army. In 2025 alone, the whole Phu Vang district had 23 union members admitted to the Party before joining the army.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Chuong, Commander of the Phu Vang District Military Command, Permanent Vice Chairman of the District Military Service Council, said: In 2025, the District Military Service Council directed all levels to organize the preliminary examination and recruitment work strictly and seriously, ensuring publicity and transparency, especially the quality of qualifications; the health of young people leaving for military service is also higher than in previous years. The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee directed local Party committees and Party cells to review and admit successful union members and young people into the Party before they leave for military service. This is a very meaningful and practical activity that contributes significantly to motivating and encouraging young people to enthusiastically join the army, promoting the role of Party members in the process of performing tasks in the Army.

Many young people of today's generation are still cherishing the dreams and ambitions of youth for a bright future. For them, protecting the Fatherland is not only a responsibility, a sacred and noble task, but also the mission of every young person today. The voluntary applications and determination of 31 young party members in the whole city, the outstanding young people of Hue City who joined the army to protect the Fatherland and build their homeland have been and are making an important contribution to continuing the heroic and indomitable tradition of the heroic Vietnamese people.
