In particular, the academic criteria include 3 components: high school study scores (including 6 semesters corresponding to the admission registration combination); high school graduation exam scores (including subjects in the admission combination); and competency assessment test scores. The candidate's academic components are calculated based on the 3-year high school study scores, high school graduation exam scores, and competency assessment test scores.
Besides, Individual achievement criteria are students winning national excellent student competitions, science and technology competitions, foreign language proficiency, international admission certificates, members of national, provincial/municipal excellent student teams, and other academic awards. In addition, there are criteria for social activities, literature, sports and arts .
The school does not have specific regulations on the weight of criteria, but according to Mr. Thang, the general spirit is not to change frequently.
For 12th graders who wish to apply for admission to the school next year, Mr. Thang advises them to focus on studying to get the best academic results and high school graduation exam. Students can take the 2025 competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University. In addition, if their foreign language knowledge is good, they should take the international English certificate exam.
Mr. Thang also said that the school will base on the new admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, select data that best reflects the university-level learning capacity of candidates to consider improving (if necessary) the combination admission method.
