The conference disseminated and deployed to the Party committees and commanders of agencies and units under the Provincial Border Guard Directive No. 54-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on leading the implementation of border protection tasks in 2024; Resolution on leading the implementation of border protection tasks in 2024 of the Border Guard Party Committee and the Border Protection Work Plan for 2024 of the Provincial Border Guard Command. Accordingly, in 2024, the Provincial Border Guard will focus on managing and firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea; preside over and coordinate with relevant forces to maintain security and order (ANTT), social safety in the maritime border area (BGB). Collect information, analyze, evaluate, and forecast the situation to carry out tasks and propose to the Party Committee, the Border Guard Command, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee to direct the implementation of border policies and laws and implement the theme of the entire army in 2024: "Basically complete the adjustment of force organization". Strictly implement combat readiness regimes; participate in building provincial and district-level defense zones (DZs), civil defense, and participate in preventing, responding to, and overcoming incidents, natural disasters, catastrophes, climate change, epidemics, search and rescue. Grasp the situation, strictly manage, inspect, and control the BGB area, proactively prevent, detect, stop, and effectively combat the activities of hostile forces, all types of crimes, and violations of the law. Thoroughly grasp and strictly implement resolutions, directives, plans and conclusions of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Party Committee, the Border Guard Command, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee on military, national defense and border work; build a strong and comprehensive "Exemplary, typical" unit, improve the quality of combat training, and build a regular unit. Participate in building the grassroots political system, developing the socio-economy in the BGB area; propagate, disseminate and educate the law, mobilize people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; advise and act as the core in building the all-people border defense and the all-people border defense posture in the BGB area.

Speaking at the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial Party Committee and Border Guard to focus on leading, directing and implementing well the set contents and tasks. In particular, focusing on thoroughly grasping, organizing the serious, drastic and effective implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on borders and sea areas, focusing on Resolution 33-NQ/TW dated September 28, 2018 of the Politburo on "National Border Protection Strategy"; Vietnam Border Law and documents guiding its implementation; thoroughly grasping the Directives and Plans of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Resolutions and Orders of the Party Committee and Border Guard Command on border work tasks in 2024, focusing on educating cadres and soldiers to improve their political mettle, be absolutely loyal to the Party and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; raise the spirit of revolutionary vigilance, ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks. Promote the core role of the Border Guard force in coordinating with coastal sectors and localities to effectively carry out the work of maintaining security and order, preventing natural disasters and presiding over search, rescue and relief at sea; coordinate training to improve the readiness to perform tasks for the province's civil forces and means participating in protecting sovereignty and sovereign rights of the sea; build a strong coastal defense zone, build and train a strong enough maritime militia force, deploying them throughout all three coastal - offshore - offshore routes to be a solid support for fishermen in developing the marine economy and participating in protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands. He also directed the provincial Border Guard, the provincial Military Command and the provincial Police to continue to effectively implement the coordination regulations between the three forces in protecting national security, maintaining social order and national defense tasks; coordinate to promote the fight against crime; take effective measures to end the situation of fishermen encroaching on foreign waters; Coordinate to grasp the situation, advise local Party committees and authorities at all levels to thoroughly resolve disputes and complaints arising among the people, not allowing complications to arise or forming hot spots in the BGB area, protecting the safety of the area, practically contributing to promoting socio-economic development, strengthening national defense and security in the province to become increasingly stronger.
