After 16 years of construction and development, Hue Royal Tea brand has established an unshakable position throughout the country.

The name Hue Royal Tea is certainly not unfamiliar to tea connoisseurs. However, not many people know that this unique tea flavor bearing the mark of nobility, royalty, and Hue culture was created by a young man from Thai Binh.

Born into a poor family with many siblings in a rural area of Thai Binh province, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong - Director of Hue Royal Tea started his journey to make a living by selling tea around the provinces of Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Hue, Khanh Hoa... Then, he returned to Hue to sell tea at Dong Ba market. In Hue, he rented a room to stay and cycled around the city to sell tea, especially in the Dong Ba market area. There were many domestic and foreign tourists coming and going here. The famous Hue Royal Tea brand was also nurtured by Mr. Phuong during the 10 long years of selling tea to make a living.

He shared: "In 2005, Hue opened its doors to welcome more and more tourists to visit and shop. Compared to other products such as sesame candy, sour shrimp, etc., the tea I sold was no longer attractive to customers. In order to survive, at that time I thought that I had to build a brand with the characteristics of the ancient capital to attract tourists. Then, the idea of creating a unique tea, bearing the mark of the aristocracy and the royal court, flashed in my mind."

Creating a new line of tea that satisfies customers is not a simple matter. Determined to create a tea product that is good for health but does not cause drunkenness or insomnia, Mr. Phuong had to both do business to earn a living and research books, ingredients, and recipes to make tea. Over the course of two years, the Hue Royal Tea brand was born in that cramped rented room, and quickly received a warm welcome from tea connoisseurs.

Hue Royal Tea is refined from 16 herbs from the three regions of the South, Central and North such as artichoke, stevia, jujube, Chinese yam, codonopsis, jujube, star anise, licorice, chrysanthemum, lotus heart, pagoda tree flower, jasmine, cassia seed, bitter melon, wolfberry, and guava buds. After being processed through secret steps, the tea will be selected for the time to be "roasted and buried" according to the law of yin and yang. In particular, Hue Royal Tea products are produced according to traditional methods, without using additives or preservatives, which have the effect of supporting the treatment of blood pressure, headaches, insomnia, helping to increase resistance, reduce heat, reduce cholesterol...

Recently, Mr. Phuong also launched Royal Tea of the Royal Concubine exclusively for women, with the effect of reducing stress, good for the skin, slowing down the aging process, preventing acne, sleeping well, and losing weight. Meanwhile, Royal Tea of the Royal Minh Mang is exclusively for men, with the effect of preventing the risk of gout, detoxifying the liver, fatty liver, eliminating toxins from alcohol, beer, cigarettes, and increasing vitality. As for Royal Tea of the Royal Mother, it is for the elderly, with outstanding effects such as preventing high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, helping to sleep well, and having a good appetite.

Mr. Phuong shared: "When the COVID-19 epidemic appeared, sales volume dropped sharply to only 20% compared to normal. Faced with that difficulty, I connected with major distribution channels, especially the Co.opmart system, to implement a promotional program with discounts from 10% to 15% to increase customers' purchasing power. At the same time, the company has promoted home delivery and collection services, which have also received enthusiastic responses from consumers."
