Taking place from July 15 to July 21, the 2024 National Badminton Tournament for Outstanding Youth and Young Players, organized by Donex, aims to promote the sports movement, develop talents, search for and select potential young athletes for the national badminton team.
After 7 days of intense and exciting competition, the athletes have contributed sublime and beautiful moments of competition, leaving many impressions and memorable moments for the audience.
This year’s tournament attracted more than 400 young athletes from 29 provinces and cities across the country. The enthusiastic response of the units and localities has partly affirmed the attractiveness of the tournament, and at the same time demonstrated the tireless efforts and striving of Donex in the journey of nurturing and developing a generation of young talents in the Vietnamese badminton community.
In the final results, Ho Chi Minh City ranked first with 7 gold medals in the following categories: U9 men's singles, U11 men's singles, U11 women's singles, U15 men's singles, U15 men's doubles, U17 women's singles, and U17 women's doubles.
Ho Chi Minh City team won 7 events.
In the remaining events, the gold medals are as follows: U9 women's singles (Bac Giang), U13 men's singles (Dien Bien), U13 women's singles (Quang Ngai), U13 mixed doubles (Hanoi), U13 men's doubles (Ninh Binh), U13 women's doubles (Thai Binh), U15 women's singles (Dong Nai), mixed doubles (U15 Thua Thien Hue), U15 women's doubles (Bac Giang), U17 men's singles (Lam Dong), mixed doubles (U17 Lam Dong), U17 men's doubles (Da Nang), U19 men's singles (Bac Giang), U19 mixed doubles (Hanoi), U19 men's doubles (Hanoi), U19 women's doubles (Lam Dong).
