(NLDO)-A series of collisions on the Phan Thiet-Dau Giay highway caused a 7-seat car to be crushed in the middle, injuring 3 people.
On February 2 (the 5th day of Tet), the Traffic Police force of Team 6, Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security is clarifying the cause of a series of accidents on the Phan Thiet-Dau Giay Expressway that left 3 people injured.

Last night (February 1), a sleeper bus with a license plate from Binh Thuan province was traveling on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. When it reached the section near the turnoff to National Highway 1 in Xuan Tam commune, Xuan Loc district, the bus suddenly rear-ended a 7-seat car with a license plate from Ho Chi Minh City.
The strong collision pushed the 7-seater car forward, crashing into the passenger car in front.
The car was hit and was 'sandwiched' in the middle, completely crushed and deformed.
Traffic police closed the highway entrance and directed vehicles to follow National Highway 1 to Ho Chi Minh City.
At the scene, the collision caused the 7-seater car to be crushed, three people in the car were seriously injured and had to be taken to the emergency room by locals. Two passenger cars had damage to the front and rear, dozens of passengers were screaming in panic.
The accident caused a long traffic jam on the highway, and the Traffic Police Department diverted vehicles to Highway 1 to clear the traffic at night.
