Nong Son's total production value increased by more than 11%

In 2024, Nong Son District Party Committee will focus on leading and directing the implementation of tasks and solutions in all aspects of work and completing the set targets. Party building and political system building work will continue to be strengthened. During the year, the district admitted 30 new party members, reaching 100% of the assigned target, bringing the total number of party members in the district Party Committee to 1,142.

The District Party Committee has completed 100% of the plan for inspection, supervision and disciplinary action within the Party; 9 Party members have been disciplined. The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has issued directives, plans and instructions on organizing congresses of branches and Party committees under the District Party Committee towards the 26th District Party Congress (term 2025 - 2030).

In the economic field, the total local production value reached nearly 2,015 billion VND, an increase of more than 11% compared to 2023. Of which, the production value of agriculture - forestry - fishery reached more than 302 billion VND, an increase of 6.18%; industry - construction is estimated at more than 1,072 billion VND, an increase of nearly 12%...

The output of grain crops reached 13,958 tons, reaching 111.3% of the target, up 1.6% compared to 2023. The budget revenue managed by the district reached nearly 550 billion VND, reaching nearly 107% of the plan assigned by the province.

To date, the entire district has achieved 92 new rural criteria (5 communes), an average of 18 criteria/commune. Que Lam commune is expected to reach the new rural target in 2024. The work of eliminating temporary houses has reached 100% of the plan (49/49 houses according to Resolution No. 13 of the Provincial People's Council); completing 100% of the target of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2024.

On this occasion, Nong Son District Party Committee commended 7 grassroots party organizations that excellently completed their tasks in 2024 and 5 party members who excellently completed their tasks for 5 consecutive years (2020 - 2024); at the same time, released the yearbook "Nong Son District Party Committee, period 2008 - 2024".
