Honoring typical businesses and entrepreneurs of Thanh Hoa province in 2024

On the evening of October 11, at Conference Center 25B (Thanh Hoa City), Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to honor typical enterprises and entrepreneurs of Thanh Hoa province in 2024.

Enterprise - the center of development

Implementing the policy of taking enterprises as the service object, in recent years the Government has continuously improved economic institutions, created a favorable investment and business environment to ensure equal rights for all enterprises and economic sectors to access resources such as: policy mechanisms, capital, resources, land... for business investment.

Provincial leaders presented flowers and a banner from the Provincial People's Committee to the Provincial Business Association on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day.

In Thanh Hoa, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee have strengthened direction, administration and built mechanisms and policies to encourage business development; at the same time, directed Party committees at all levels, authorities and functional branches to promptly remove difficulties for businesses to develop production and business, especially in the context of the economy facing many adverse impacts from world politics and economy.

In the first 9 months of 2024, the province had more than 2,400 newly established enterprises, ranking 8th in the country and leading the North Central provinces. Up to now, Thanh Hoa province has 34,000 registered enterprises, of which 21,000 are operating.

In recent times, despite facing numerous difficulties due to the global economic recession and unfavorable factors in prices and markets; however, with the attention and facilitation of the Party, the State and the authorities of Thanh Hoa province, the Thanh Hoa business community has been dynamic and creative in production and business, making important contributions to the province's socio-economic development. Enterprises are an important driving force in the province's budget revenue; at the same time, creating jobs for hundreds of thousands of workers.

Taking business development as the driving force for Thanh Hoa prosperity

Speaking at the ceremony to congratulate the enterprises and businessmen, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan sent his sincere greetings, warm greetings, and best wishes to the business community and businessmen of the province; businessmen from other provinces and abroad who are investing, producing, and doing business in the province; and businessmen who are Thanh Hoa people who are organizing production and doing business outside the province.

He also praised the Provincial Business Association, VCCI Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh, the Young Entrepreneurs Association, the Women Entrepreneurs Association... for organizing many meaningful and practical activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day. In particular, he warmly congratulated the outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs who had excellent achievements and were honored and rewarded at the ceremony.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Our Party and State always pay attention to and highly appreciate the role of the business community and the team of entrepreneurs, considering them the main material production force of the economy, playing an extremely important role in the cause of building, protecting and developing the homeland and country.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always had special affection and attention for Vietnamese businessmen. Right after the founding of the country, on October 13, 1945, he sent a letter to the Vietnamese industrial and commercial community. In the letter, he wrote: "A prosperous national economy means that the businesses of industrialists and merchants are prosperous". After nearly 40 years of renovation, our country has continuously developed in all aspects, in which enterprises and businessmen have increasingly affirmed their role and position in the process of renovation and international integration; our Party and State always set out strategies to build and develop the Vietnamese business community.

In particular, on October 10, 2023, the Politburo issued Resolution No. 41-NQ/TW on "Building and promoting the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the new period", which sets out important goals, tasks and solutions to continue to enhance the position, role and build and develop the Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the new situation.

Imbued with the ideology of President Ho Chi Minh and the viewpoints and strategies of the Party and State on building and developing the team of enterprises and entrepreneurs; over the past time, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee have always paid attention to leading, directing, issuing many policies, resolutions, mechanisms and policies, proposing many practical and effective measures and solutions to develop enterprises and entrepreneurs; at the same time, strongly improving the investment and business environment, tightening administrative discipline and order, creating the most favorable conditions within the legal framework for enterprises and entrepreneurs in the province to confidently invest, organize production, business and develop sustainably.

For Thanh Hoa province, imbued with the ideology of President Ho Chi Minh and the viewpoints and strategies of the Party and State on building and developing the team of enterprises and entrepreneurs; over the past time, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee have always paid attention to leading, directing, issuing many policies, resolutions, mechanisms and policies, proposing many practical and effective measures and solutions to develop enterprises and entrepreneurs; at the same time, strongly improving the investment and business environment, tightening administrative discipline and order, creating the most favorable conditions within the legal framework for enterprises and entrepreneurs in the province to feel secure in investing, organizing production, business and developing sustainably.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee stated that in recent years, the situation in the world, in the country and in the province has had many difficulties and challenges, greatly affecting the production and business activities of enterprises; however, with the attention of the Central Government, the companionship and sharing of Party committees at all levels, authorities, organizations and people, the business community and the team of entrepreneurs in the province have made efforts, tried, proactively overcome difficulties and challenges, explored, innovated, promoted production and business development, created jobs and stable income for workers, making important contributions to the overall development of the province.

Understanding the silent sacrifices and risks in the marketplace, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan also hopes and requests that the business community and the team of entrepreneurs in the province always uphold the revolutionary tradition of Thanh Hoa, continue to make efforts, strive to rise up, overcome difficulties and challenges, cultivate professional qualities, respect the law, strive to compete in production and business, improve investment efficiency; at the same time, strengthen connections, participate more deeply in the global value chain, national digital transformation, strongly demonstrate the role of vanguard, leading soldiers on the socio-economic development front.

Along with that, enterprises also need to comply with and properly perform their responsibilities and obligations in ensuring full rights and legitimate interests of employees; actively participate in social security programs and common work of the whole province, for a sustainable development of Thanh Hoa.

With the mission of the Party Committee and the Government, consistent with the viewpoint: Taking "Business development as a driving force for Thanh Hoa prosperity", the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee are committed to always stand side by side with the business community and the team of entrepreneurs in all conditions and circumstances.

Thanh Hoa provincial leaders will focus on leading and directing all levels, sectors, localities and units to synchronously implement tasks and solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in production and business; strengthen consultation, actively dialogue to grasp the aspirations of enterprises; create an equal, transparent, stable and most favorable investment and business environment according to the provisions of law, so that Thanh Hoa is truly a place where "good land attracts birds", becoming an attractive and trustworthy destination for investors.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan also requested business associations and VCCI Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh to continue to further promote their role of representing and protecting the rights and interests of members, members and the business community; to play a good intermediary role, truly being a bridge between businesses and state management agencies of Thanh Hoa province.
