(Fatherland) - On March 14, news from the Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Binh province said that the Department will coordinate with Bolt Event Company to organize the Quang Binh International Marathon taking place in Dong Hoi City in July 2024.
The Quang Binh International Marathon is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 420th anniversary of the founding of Quang Binh province, the 75th anniversary of Quang Binh uprising, and the 35th anniversary of the founding of Quang Binh province. This event not only creates a sports playground connecting the community but also has a tourism effect on the locality.

Mr. Le Phu Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Quang Binh province, said that recently, the sports movement as well as the running movement in the whole province of Quang Binh have developed rapidly and strongly.
Quang Binh province's running clubs are expanding, attracting more than 300 athletes, and this will be a typical force participating in this year's Quang Binh International Marathon.
“The 2024 Quang Binh International Marathon is a large-scale event. We will try our best to coordinate with departments, branches, and event units to prepare good facilities to serve the runners and hope that when athletes come to Quang Binh, they will have many good impressions for themselves.
