On the morning of January 31, according to the report of Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, on January 30 (the 2nd day of Lunar New Year), the locality is estimated to welcome 71,330 visitors, including 10,230 international visitors, typically: Hoa Lu ancient capital welcomed over 2,000 visitors, Bai Dinh pagoda welcomed over 13,500 visitors, Trang An welcomed 10,800 visitors, Thung Nham welcomed nearly 3,000 visitors, Hoa Lu ancient town welcomed over 17,000 visitors, Tam Coc area welcomed nearly 2,200 visitors, and Mua cave welcomed nearly 1,000 visitors.
Accumulated from the beginning of the holiday to the end of the 2nd day, the whole province welcomed 130,840 visitors (an increase of 11.37% compared to the 2024 Tet holiday), including 34,753 international visitors.
Security and order, tourism civilization are guaranteed, tourism images are reported by many media.
According to records, in the past 2 days, most of the tourist areas and spots in Ninh Binh have opened to welcome visitors. Many tourist areas and spots are open free of charge by the hour for locals and tourists to visit.
At Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area (Hoa Lu city), on the morning of the 2nd day of Lunar New Year 2025, thousands of domestic and international tourists came to visit and experience.
At Trang An eco-tourism area (Hoa Lu city), on the morning of the second day of Lunar New Year, the Management Board of this tourist area began selling tickets for visitors. According to records, from early morning, thousands of visitors lined up to buy tickets to begin their tour.
The first guests to receive lucky money
At Thung Nham eco-tourism area, the Management Board of this tourist area opens free of charge from 5:00 p.m. on the 3rd and 4th days of Tet for locals and tourists to visit and experience the "Multi-colored Spring" program with many unique cultural and artistic activities and folk games.
Director of Ninh Binh Department of Tourism Bui Van Manh and representatives of tourist areas and spots presented flowers, lucky red envelopes and best wishes to the first visitors to Ninh Binh in the new year.
Talking to reporters, Director of Ninh Binh Department of Tourism Bui Van Manh said that with favorable weather, gentle golden sunshine spreading across all scenic spots, Ninh Binh tourism space becomes even more sparkling, creating a Tet atmosphere imbued with identity.
Security, order and environmental sanitation are carefully ensured, helping tourists have a comfortable and complete experience when traveling in the spring of the year.
During the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday, Ninh Binh tourism industry expects to welcome more than 700,000 visitors, an increase of about 20% over the same period last year.
