New feature only available on iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max

According to MacRumors , the new button on the iPhone will support both touch operations and haptic feedback, allowing users to control various features on the camera.

Specifically, users can lightly touch this button to focus on the camera, press harder to take a photo. This mechanism works similarly to the way users take photos on professional cameras.

Swiping left and right will activate the camera's zoom feature. Users can also quickly switch between photo and video modes using preset gestures.

Some previous leaks revealed that Capture Button will appear on all four versions of iPhone 16. However, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg said that this feature will only be equipped on the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max duo.

According to leaker Instant Digital, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to have a 3,577mAh battery, up 9.25% from the 3,274mAh on the iPhone 15 Pro. The battery on the iPhone 16 Pro Max version will also increase by 5.74%, to 4,676mAh.

Leaked information also revealed that these two models will be upgraded to 40W fast charging speed and 20W MagSafe wireless charging. Currently, the iPhone 15 Pro duo supports 27W fast charging and 15W MagSafe charging.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously said that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be equipped with multi-layer stacked battery technology. This helps increase energy density and extend battery life, while not changing the overall size or weight of the device.
