Today's pepper price was updated on the afternoon of April 1, 2025, showing that the domestic pepper market is continuing to decline compared to yesterday, with a steady decrease of 1,000 VND/kg in all regions. Currently, the average pepper purchase price in key regions is 157,400 VND/kg.

Specifically, today's pepper price in Gia Lai decreased by VND 1,000/kg compared to yesterday, bringing the purchase price down to VND 157,000/kg. Similarly, in Ba Ria - Vung Tau, pepper price was also recorded at VND 157,000/kg after decreasing by the same amount of VND 1,000/kg. In Binh Phuoc, today's pepper price is also not out of the trend, decreasing by VND 1,000/kg and currently at VND 157,000/kg.

In Dak Lak, pepper prices continued to decrease by VND 1,000/kg today, bringing the purchase price here to VND 158,000/kg. Dak Nong province also recorded a similar decrease, with pepper prices today falling to VND 158,000/kg after losing VND 1,000/kg compared to the previous trading session. In general, the domestic pepper market is under pressure to reduce prices evenly across localities.

Today's pepper prices on the world market, updated on the afternoon of April 1, 2025, showed remarkable stability when no fluctuations were recorded compared to the previous trading session. Global pepper prices fluctuated between 7,000 USD/ton and 12,400 USD/ton, equivalent to about 180,880 VND/kg to 320,416 VND/kg when converted.

Specifically, today's pepper price in Indonesia remained at 7,239 USD/ton (187,056 VND/kg) for black pepper and 10,066 USD/ton (260,106 VND/kg) for white pepper. Similarly, in Brazil, the price of ASTA 570 black pepper remained stable at 7,000 USD/ton (180,880 VND/kg). In Malaysia, today's pepper price also remained unchanged, with ASTA black pepper reaching 9,900 USD/ton (255,816 VND/kg) and ASTA white pepper the highest in the market at 12,400 USD/ton (320,416 VND/kg).

In Vietnam, pepper prices in the international market today also remained stable, with 500 g/l black pepper at 7,100 USD/ton (183,464 VND/kg), 550 g/l black pepper at 7,300 USD/ton (188,632 VND/kg), and ASTA white pepper at 10,100 USD/ton (260,984 VND/kg). This stability shows that the world pepper market is in a lull, possibly reflecting the cautious sentiment of traders amid the lack of major fluctuations in supply and demand.
