‏Da Nang's economic growth in the first quarter of 2025 leads 6 centrally-run cities‏

‏(QNO) - According to the Da Nang City Statistics Office, Da Nang's GRDP economic growth in the first quarter of 2025 reached 11.36%, the highest compared to 6 centrally-run cities and provinces in the Central region.

If calculated nationwide, Da Nang's GRDP growth in the first quarter of 2025 will rank 4th, after Bac Giang , Hoa Binh and Nam Dinh provinces.

‏The scale of GRDP at current prices in the first quarter of 2025 of Da Nang is estimated to reach more than 38,935 billion VND, an expansion of 5,213 billion VND compared to the same period last year, of which the service sector expanded the most with 3,493 billion VND.

In Da Nang's economic structure, the service sector still accounts for the highest proportion at 70.97%, industry - construction 17.72%, product tax minus product subsidy 10.04%, agriculture, forestry and fishery 1.27%.

Many other economic indicators also grew strongly in the first quarter of 2025, such as: Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at VND 37,530 billion (up 24% over the same period); total import-export turnover of goods reached 803 million USD (up 5.7%); total budget revenue is VND 8,297 billion (up 31%).

‏The total social investment capital implemented in the area in the first quarter is estimated at VND 9,773 billion, an increase of 43.3% over the same period in 2024; of which the non-state sector reached VND 5,877 billion, accounting for 60.1% of the total investment capital and an increase of 44.5% over the same period in 2024.
