With the direction and support of the Government, ministries, branches, and central agencies, the Nghe An Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, and the overall adjustment project of the General Planning for the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone to 2040 have been approved by the Prime Minister and were officially announced today.
Nghe An province is very pleased and honored to welcome comrade Tran Hong Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; comrades of the Party Central Committee, leaders of departments, ministries, branches, central agencies, leaders of provinces and cities in the North Central and Central Coast regions; businesses, investors and distinguished guests to attend the Conference, bringing to the province a valuable source of encouragement, expressing deep feelings for the homeland of beloved Uncle Ho!
The conference announced the basic and core contents of the Nghe An Provincial Planning and the adjusted master plan for the construction of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone. This will be an important legal corridor in orienting and comprehensively managing socio-economic development activities, developing territorial space, and developing the province's key economic zones with long-term goals and visions. At the same time, it was a pleasure to witness the ceremony of granting Investment Certificates to 6 projects with a total registered capital of more than 9,550 billion VND invested in the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone. These are the first important projects to concretize the approved plans.

Nghe An province is deeply aware that the announcement of the new Planning is the first step, the journey to implement the planning is very long, the task is very important, in the context of many favorable factors intertwined with many challenges. In particular, fully, seriously and comprehensively absorbing the important direction of comrade Tran Hong Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister at the Conference, Nghe An province will continue to promote the fine traditions of the homeland, solidarity, dynamism, creativity; actively and proactively coordinate with departments, ministries, branches, central agencies and localities to organize the implementation of the planning with the highest efficiency.
The whole province will focus on promoting propaganda and widely disseminating the core contents of the planning to all levels, sectors, business communities, and people of all walks of life, in order to create unity in awareness and high determination, great efforts, drastic and scientific actions in implementing the planning. Direct all levels, sectors, and localities to organize and implement the planning to ensure unity, synchronization, strictness, but flexibility, in accordance with the Master Plan. Focus on planning management, promptly review and adjust specialized technical plans. Promote digital transformation, create breakthroughs in administrative reform and improve the investment and business environment; focus resources on completing key connecting infrastructure; improve the quality of human resources, especially high-quality human resources; prioritize the development of science, technology, innovation and environmental protection, in order to realize the goal of rapid and sustainable development, imbued with the cultural identity of Vietnam and Nghe An.
On this occasion, the Party Committee, the Government and the People of Nghe An province would like to sincerely thank the Central leaders, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, and members of the Planning Appraisal Council for their valuable attention and assistance to the development of Nghe An province, especially in the process of establishing and completing the plans.
