Mr. Le Dinh Phuc - Deputy Director of Song Tranh Hydropower Company said that although the hydrological situation of the reservoir this year was not favorable, the average flow to the reservoir was 96.3m3/s (reaching 95% compared to the average of many years, equal to 92% compared to the same period last year), however, the company's staff and employees have strived to achieve 543 million kWh in the past 11 months, reaching 100% of the 2024 plan 31 days ahead of schedule.

In addition, other economic and technical indicators such as: Self-consumption electricity rate; availability coefficient; breakdown shutdown rate; maintenance and repair shutdown rate of the company up to now have all reached and exceeded the plan, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of Quang Nam province and supplying electricity to the national grid system.

According to Mr. Phuc, from now until the end of the year, the company will continue to do a good job of regulating the Song Tranh 2 hydropower reservoir, strictly complying with the procedures issued by the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the decision of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Quang Nam province, and be ready to operate power generation.

It is expected that by December 31, 2024, the company will produce more than 650 million kWh, exceeding 20% ​​of the plan assigned by EVNGENCO1.
