The US Investment Summit is seen as an opportunity for businesses around the world to seek business opportunities in the US.
Yesterday in the Washington, DC area of the United States, a series of events within the framework of the US Investment Summit were opened. This is the largest forum organized by the US Department of Commerce, with the presence of state and local governments in 50 states and territories of the US. The Vietnamese business delegation attending this conference is the largest ever.
The US Investment Summit is considered an opportunity for businesses around the world to seek business opportunities in the US. As a conference to seek investment opportunities, the space for businesses to connect is exploited to the fullest. The US Department of Commerce organizes a department to support each delegation, helping to connect, answer questions, as well as pursue and support even the smallest proposals of businesses.
In the 9 previous conferences, over 200 billion USD in investments were attracted, creating more than 200,000 jobs in the US. As one of the 7 largest trade partners of the US, Vietnamese enterprises are also expected to become partners and investors of the US.
Mr. Truong Quoc Tuan - Director of Nova Square Company said: "When we have needs, people support us very promptly, from the initial thoughts to meeting and learning, people have given us a lot of information."
Mr. Trong Khuong Bui - Director of Vidoori Company, USA shared: "There are very few Vietnamese enterprises specializing in a certain field in information technology, I hope that Vietnamese companies should focus on specialized fields then there will be very high opportunities".
The number of Vietnamese enterprises participating in this year’s conference is 70, compared to 30 last year, placing Vietnam among the top 5 countries with the largest number of enterprises participating in the US investment summit. The conference is an opportunity to promote the development of the Vietnam-US comprehensive strategic partnership and is also an initiative to strengthen trade relations between the two countries.
