On April 14, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Government delegation visited and worked with FPT University and FPT Software Company Limited at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, Hanoi.

FPT Corporation Chairman Truong Gia Binh said that from 2011 to now, there have been 18,241 students graduating from FPT University. FPT is occupying a high position in the world's super hot fields, thanks to human resources from Vietnamese universities, FPT University and Vietnamese students studying abroad.
In 2022, for the first time, FPT Corporation recorded 1 billion USD in revenue from foreign markets, equivalent to the export revenue of pepper - Vietnam's main agricultural export product, with high growth in all global markets, contributing 7,112 billion VND to the State budget.

“This is the time to create new attractiveness for the Vietnamese technology industry and attract foreign enterprises to invest in our country thanks to the abundant source of technical labor with certificates and degrees. Even high and very high technology human resources such as AI, Chip, IoT, Big Data, electric vehicle engineering... With a population of 100 million, Vietnam can become the world's center of technology education and training", Mr. Truong Gia Binh reported to the Prime Minister. Vietnam's potential can be ranked in the top 5 - top 10 in the world in information technology, agriculture and tourism. Therefore, it is recommended that the Government soon issue a policy to strongly invest in education and training, human resources 4.0.
FPT also proposed that the Government create favorable conditions to focus on developing human resources in Vietnam, especially semiconductor chip design resources. Vietnam also needs to establish a national center to support the semiconductor industry to develop long-term resources similar to the model in Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. In addition, Vietnam also needs to attract and call on large enterprises in the world to invest in building factories and training human resources for this industry.

Here, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that, together with other Vietnamese technology enterprises, FPT has made impressive progress, contributing to making Vietnam rise up and become a bright spot in information technology in a number of fields. The Group also focuses on training high-quality human resources, especially technology human resources. FPT University students are highly appreciated by organizations and enterprises, with an employment rate of 94.2%. The Prime Minister said that this is the right direction, and these are very remarkable results for Vietnamese technology enterprises in general and FPT Group in particular. FPT needs to focus on this path.

The Prime Minister reminded that FPT Corporation is on the right track and needs to continue focusing on developing IT, developing digital technology, designing and manufacturing chips, and training human resources. Through ups and downs and breakthroughs, FPT's path of developing IT, designing and developing software, and manufacturing chips is the most correct path, in line with the world's trends and the circumstances of our country, contributing to building an independent, self-reliant economy and closely linked to deep international integration.
The Prime Minister also affirmed that the Government will be responsible for establishing a Center to connect resources; have policies and change policies to call for investment in this field.
The Prime Minister also directed the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to jointly research and propose plans to train high-quality human resources in the short and long term to contribute to building a strong and happy Vietnam.
