Speaking at the announcement ceremony of the new route, the Australian Prime Minister commented: "We welcome the new routes to Australia, especially when Vietjet's route is the first route connecting Vietnam with the beautiful city of Brisbane, where the 2032 Summer Olympics will take place."
After Melbourne and Sydney, Brisbane is the third Australian city Vietjet has direct flights to. This is also the first route connecting Vietnam with Brisbane city and Queensland state.
The new route will shorten travel time, making it easier for people and tourists to fly from Ho Chi Minh City to Brisbane, the third largest city in Australia, which is known as the New York of the "kangaroo country". According to a representative of Vietjet Air, the route will contribute to promoting trade between Vietnam and Brisbane, Queensland in particular, and further developing bilateral relations in general in the coming time.
Flights will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 10:50 and land in Brisbane at 21:55. In the opposite direction, flights depart from Brisbane airport at 23:30 and land in Ho Chi Minh City at 5:10 the following day. Departure and arrival schedules are all in local time.
With this route, Vietjet offers customers a variety of choices with many ticket classes such as SkyBoss Business, SkyBoss, Deluxe, Eco. Passengers will be served authentic Vietnamese and international cuisine with dedicated and friendly flight crew on new aircraft equipped by Vietjet.
After Brisbane, Vietjet is planning to open more routes connecting cities in Vietnam with Australia, and at the same time, expanding its connecting flight network from Australia to countries in the region and around the world.
