"In the coming time, Da Nang city's tourism industry will continue to cooperate with Malaysia Airlines to organize Famtrip, presstrip, and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) groups to experience Da Nang tourism and support communication activities to promote Da Nang to Malaysian tourists," Mr. Vuong added.
Mr. Cao Tri Dung, Chairman of the Da Nang City Tourism Association, said that the opening of Malaysia Airlines' route to Da Nang is of significant importance in promoting tourism in Da Nang city, as well as opening up possibilities for exploiting the tourism market from Da Nang to other countries, especially the European market.
The Malaysian market currently ranks third among tourist nationalities visiting Da Nang, along with South Korea, Taiwan (China), and Thailand. Becoming a major source of tourists for Da Nang, this represents a very good fit with the destination, infrastructure, and service system of Da Nang.
Malaysia Airlines currently has a very good flight network connecting Da Nang and Vietnam to Vietnam, arguably the best in Southeast Asia. This opens up a huge tourist market for Da Nang, allowing it to tap into both highly potential and new markets in the near future.
