The event is especially meaningful as the whole country is entering the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024). Every soldier and veteran on the information front has the opportunity to look back at the glorious history of the country, in which the role of journalists is indispensable.

Mr. Tran Trang Duong - Vice President of the Vietnam News Agency Veterans Association said that the meeting aimed to review history, honor and show gratitude to generations of ancestors who fought heroically to protect the Fatherland, to arouse the glorious fighting tradition of the nation, and to encourage future generations in studying, working and building the country.
At the meeting, the veteran branches of Vietnam News Agency had the opportunity to contribute their opinions and listen to the sharing from the Vietnam Veterans Association and individuals who were both soldiers on the battlefield and soldiers on the information front.
Also contributing opinions at the meeting were reports from the Editorial Boards and Newsrooms Association on reporting related to the Dien Bien Phu Victory, and the Office Association on promoting the responsibility of veterans in ensuring security and safety of information agencies.
At the end of the meeting, Vice President of the Vietnam News Agency Veterans Association - Mr. Phan Anh Tuan affirmed that the meeting and sharing was an honor and encouragement for the Vietnam News Agency Veterans Association to excellently complete the assigned tasks and to continuously compete and strive for good work.
