A new Spring - the Year of the Snake - has arrived, bringing with it joy, hope and beautiful dreams. At this sacred moment of the New Year, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, I cordially send to all compatriots, comrades and soldiers nationwide and our compatriots abroad my best wishes for a happy new year. I also respectfully send to friends and people around the world my best wishes for a new year of peace, happiness, friendship and development.

Last year, we experienced many "big waves and strong winds", but it was also a year of many proud achievements. In the midst of difficulties and challenges, the spirit of solidarity, humanity, compatriotism and the will to rise of our nation were further affirmed.
Our entire Party, people and army have strived to achieve and surpass all 15/15 socio-economic development targets, with economic growth rates among the world's leading; the material and spiritual lives of the people have been constantly improved and enhanced; politics and society have been stable, national defense and security have been strengthened, foreign relations have been expanded, and international friends have respected and appreciated them.
Every Vietnamese citizen, at home or abroad, from workers, farmers, businessmen, intellectuals to soldiers on remote borders and islands, has the right to be proud of their contributions to the common achievements of the Fatherland.
2025 is a year filled with very important events for the country, a year of "acceleration and breakthrough", creating the foundation to bring the country into a new era - an era of striving to develop richly and prosperously; the Party's will blends with the people's heart towards the goal of national prosperity. Although there are many difficulties and challenges, Vietnam will always move forward, nothing can stop the aspiration to rise and the bright future of our nation.
The entire Party, people and army continue to unite, work together, uphold the spirit of self-reliance, self-confidence, self-reliance, self-strengthening, national pride, seize every opportunity, overcome all difficulties and challenges to develop rapidly, build a Vietnam with rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization; all people have a prosperous, free and happy life; contribute more and more to peace, stability and development of the region and the world.
In the atmosphere of heaven and earth in harmony, people are moved and joyfully welcome the New Year, once again I wish all compatriots, comrades, soldiers nationwide and our compatriots abroad a new year of good health, peace and prosperity. The new year will certainly bring many new victories.
