The blue and white screen error of iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max appeared from mid-2022. Most of the original devices with the error will be covered by the manufacturer's warranty if they are still within the support period. If the warranty expires, users will have to pay about 7-9 million VND to replace components. This is a big problem, affecting the user experience and trust in Apple products.
Recently, phone repairers in Vietnam have found a way to fix the white and blue screen errors of new iPhone models. This method helps users save money, as they do not need to pay a large amount of money to replace the screen.
Simple solution
According to Mr. DT, a phone technician living in Ho Chi Minh City, the method to fix the above screen error is very simple. Specifically, the person doing it only needs to remove the iPhone screen, find the location of the circuit on the back, below. Then, the technician uses a thin copper wire to connect the two opposite circuits. Technicians call this method "borrowing voltage".

The exact location of the wiring or how this solution resolves the display error is not disclosed.
According to Mr. T., the above screen repair method originated in China. Accordingly, the solution appeared a few months ago, and domestic repairmen have only recently approached it. The cost to fix screen errors in this way currently ranges from 500,000 to 1 million VND, depending on the repair unit. On social networks, there are some centers quoting 1-2 million VND for this service.
Speaking to Zing , Mr. Tuan Thanh, an iPhone dealer in District 10, Ho Chi Minh City, said this is a low-cost repair method for users who encounter errors. In addition, traders of hand-carried Apple phones reduce the burden of device warranty.
“After testing on many machines, the current success rate is very high. The solution seems 'rudimentary', but it provides a lot of support for users and sellers,” said Mr. Thanh.

Solve many problems
Since mid-2022, many users in Vietnam using iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max have suddenly encountered white and blue screen errors. The number of devices with problems increased rapidly towards the end of the year, when the device was out of warranty. The screens of the products with the error were blue or purple, making it impossible to view content. In addition, some devices also had flashes and stripes running continuously on the iPhone.

According to the commitment, Apple's partners will repair and return the devices to users within 2 weeks. However, the warranty period for the iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max line is unusually long. Users with faulty devices can only wait, with no other choice.
Responding to Zing , a representative of an Apple repair partner said that the warranty period for devices is longer than 3-4 weeks. The lack of replacement parts and screens is the main reason for the long warranty wait.
On the other hand, the device has serious errors that make customers hesitate to buy this product line. In the secondary market, used iPhone 13/13 Pro Max are forced to lower prices and are difficult to sell due to this reason. Meanwhile, the older iPhone 12 line is favored for its stability and low risk of errors.
