With only a few days left until the Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cup Children's Football Tournament begins, Thieu Hoa district has rushed to complete preparations to start this important event.
Thieu Hoa district gymnasium is being urgently repaired in the final stages, ready for the biggest children's football festival in the province.
According to information from the Organizing Committee, the tournament for the U8 and U10 age groups attracted the participation of nearly 500 athletes from 12 U8 teams and 21 U10 teams. In the first time hosting the Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cup Children's Football Tournament, Thieu Hoa district actively prepared for the restoration and repair work to ensure the tournament took place smoothly and successfully.
Preparations for the tournament were carried out synchronously, including checking and repairing the field, the stage area for the opening ceremony, the sound and lighting system, tournament equipment, as well as preparing food and accommodation for the teams throughout the tournament.
The stadium management board is repairing the field surface inside the stadium.
The seats in the stands were thoroughly checked.
The lighting system is of special concern to the Stadium Management Board.
Outside the stadium, the steps were upgraded and repainted to increase aesthetics and safety for participating delegations.
Thieu Phu Commune Stadium (the competition venue for the U10 age group) is having the grass surface cleaned by the Organizing Committee to soon carry out the marking work to serve the competition.
Very early, the Organizing Committee prepared a list of addresses and phone numbers of restaurants and hotels in the district and sent it to the participating teams. This is a big plus, helping the teams feel secure in competing in the best conditions.
In addition, in this year's tournament, the work of checking records, personnel, competition rules and competition costumes is also seriously carried out by the Organizing Committee, ensuring fairness in the tournament.
The opening ceremony of the tournament will take place at the Thieu Hoa District Sports Center on the afternoon of July 1. The teams will compete until July 9.
The tournament will be a place for children to show their talent, desire and passion for football, promising to bring dramatic and attractive competitions.
