Spain Security cameras at Sutton nightclub captured the 23-year-old woman crying and suffering a knee injury on the night she accused Dani Alves of sexual assault.

According to the victim's testimony, Alves forced her to sit on him, slapped her, pushed her to the floor and forced her to have sex - which she actively resisted - in the toilet of the VIP area at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona on the evening of December 30. She was then taken to the Hospital Clinic in Barcelona, where she was tested for biological evidence.
According to Mundo Deportivo , the 23-year-old woman repeated this testimony before the judge. And that can now be corroborated by images recorded by security cameras at the Sutton nightclub.
The Catalan news site Diari ARA has obtained this detailed video analysis. According to it, after entering the bathroom together, Alves went first, the girl came out shortly after and immediately accused the Brazilian defender of "raping her". She approached her cousin and said it was time to leave the nightclub.
But before leaving, the 23-year-old woman burst into tears and repeatedly pointed to her knee, where the injury was confirmed in a medical report. Diari ARA quoted experts as saying that knee injuries are common in sexual assaults.
"The security camera in Sutton captured the scene perfectly. The girl stretched her legs and touched her knees while looking at her cousin. Then they hugged each other and she kept crying the whole time," said Diari ARA .
The source also revealed that there was an important moment recorded by security cameras. Accordingly, when the 23-year-old woman had her back turned, Alves grabbed her hand and touched her "private area". The victim then pushed Alves' hand away. The Brazilian defender touched the girl's buttocks another time, but she continued to push Alves' hand away.

Alves was arrested at Mossos d'Esquadra de Les Corts, Barcelona on the morning of January 20, on charges of sexually assaulting a young woman on December 30, 2022. The former Barca defender spent three days and nights in Brians 1 prison, before being transferred to Brians 2 - where most of the prisoners are sex offenders.
The 39-year-old defender was denied bail by a Spanish court in late February and could spend between one and two years in prison while his case is heard. If convicted, the former Barca and Juventus player could face between four and 12 years in prison.
Following his arrest, Alves' wife, model Joana Sanz, filed for divorce. According to the TV show El programa de Ana Rosa, the reason Joana wanted a divorce was not because Alves was arrested for sexual assault, but because the Brazilian defender admitted to having an affair. The Spanish model also moved out of her home in Barcelona - at Alves' request - to Madrid and may have started a new relationship with a businessman.
