Youth Union members light candles to commemorate heroic martyrs |
In recent times, towards the 50th anniversary of Hue Liberation Day (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025) and the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Hue City Party Committee (April 1930 - April 2025), the Youth Union at all levels has implemented many practical and meaningful activities such as: Journey to the red address; Building and repairing gratitude houses; Visiting and caring for families of war invalids and policy beneficiaries; Participating in the renovation and repair of memorials and martyrs' cemeteries...
Every action, though small, shows the affection and responsibility of the youth. This is not only the gratitude of today's generation to the previous generation, but also an opportunity for the youth to relearn invaluable historical lessons, to be reminded, to be given more strength and spirit to be confident, to move forward, and to become more mature in both perception and action.
The art program "Gratitude and Aspiration" was organized with meaningful performances and elaborate staging. |
After the candle lighting ceremony, the "Gratitude and Aspiration" art program was held with songs that have been with us for many years such as: "Country on the banks of waves", "Plain river", "Truong Son song", "Unknown heroes"... performed by a group of artists, actors, union members and youth of Hue City. The program is like a deep gift of gratitude in the language of art sent to the heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroic martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, families of policy beneficiaries, people with meritorious services to the revolution in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland.
On this occasion, Hue City Youth Union presented reconstructed portraits of a Vietnamese Heroic Mother and 4 martyrs to their relatives. At the same time, they supported 25 gifts for families with meritorious services to the revolution.
