Established in 2001, formerly the School of Health Management, the University of Public Health is the first university in Vietnam specializing in the field of Public Health. After nearly 25 years of development, the school has built a modern infrastructure system, advanced training programs and a team of more than 200 highly qualified staff and lecturers, many of whom were trained at prestigious international universities, with rich experience and passion for the profession. In addition to the regular training program, the school also implements more than 50 short-term training courses to meet diverse social needs.

In terms of organization, the school currently has 07 functional departments and support units, 05 specialized departments, 01 Training Institute, 07 research and learning support centers, along with 01 Pham Ngoc Thach General Clinic/Hospital.
