On the morning of September 28, representatives of Thai Binh Secondary and High School (HCMC) came to Tuoi Tre newspaper to send more than 35 million VND in support to the people in the North affected by storms and floods.
Mr. Tran Nhat Anh Vu - youth assistant of Thai Binh Secondary and High School, said this is the heart of the teachers, staff, students and parents of the school.
Previously, the school launched a school-wide donation campaign to share some of the difficulties with people affected by storms and floods in the northern provinces.
Mr. Vu added that at first the school planned to only receive contributions for 3 days to quickly transfer the contributions to quickly share some of the difficulties with the people.
However, due to the fact that many parents from the provinces, guest teachers and occasional teachers also wanted to contribute, the school extended the time for receiving contributions.
" Tuoi Tre Newspaper has a reconstruction program for people in flood-hit areas, so we want to contribute a small part of the hearts of teachers, students and parents to this program," Mr. Vu shared.
