The Ministry of Education and Training has just sent a document to the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities on coordinating the direction of organizing the High School Graduation Exam and university and vocational education admissions in 2023.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the People's Committees of provinces and cities have actively coordinated with the education sector to direct the organization of the High School Graduation Exam and university and vocational education entrance exams to be increasingly serious, honest, objective, and safe, basically meeting the goals set in organizing exams, considering recognition of high school graduation, and effectively serving the requirements of university and vocational education entrance exams.
Pursuant to the Prime Minister's direction on strengthening direction and coordination in organizing the 2023 High School Graduation Exam and university and vocational education admissions, the Ministry of Education and Training requests the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities to establish the Steering Committee for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam at the provincial level to direct relevant departments, branches, sectors, organizations, and authorities at all levels to coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to prepare and organize the exam well.
At the same time, develop plans and solutions for organizing exams and enrollment in the province to ensure that exams and enrollment are organized seriously, honestly, objectively, and safely; develop contingency plans to respond to and handle unusual situations, especially contingency plans for extreme weather, harsh weather, or natural disasters and epidemics.
In addition, the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities directed the local Departments of Education and Training to carefully prepare and well organize the activities of the Examination Councils in the province.
Ensure adequate facilities and equipment for the organization of the exam and enrollment; arrange reasonable exam locations, meet the requirements for organizing the exam seriously and safely, create favorable conditions for candidates to take the exam and ensure timely response to unusual situations, especially extreme weather conditions or natural disasters and epidemics; provide full training in exam organization and inspection and examination skills; thoroughly instill a sense of responsibility and discipline among participants.
Along with that, focus on transporting and preserving exam papers; ensuring security, order, traffic safety, and communication; providing stable electricity and water; ensuring regulations on epidemic prevention, hygiene, and food safety at all locations where the exam takes place. Create the most favorable conditions for candidates to take the exam safely, not allowing candidates to drop out of the exam due to economic difficulties, travel conditions, or being affected by the epidemic. At the same time, prevent the spread of the epidemic to the community in case of an epidemic.
The Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities shall strengthen inspection, supervision and examination of the organization of exams, recognition of high school graduation and enrollment in the province in accordance with the principle that all stages of the exam and enrollment must be inspected and examined. The main goal is to prevent and promptly detect and handle violations (if any) to ensure the organization of the exam and enrollment is safe and honest, without negativity or violations of regulations.
The Ministry of Education and Training requests that the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities pay attention to and strengthen coordination and direction so that the examination, recognition of high school graduation and enrollment in 2023 in the province are organized seriously, honestly, objectively, safely, creating the most favorable conditions for candidates, meeting the requirements of Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training. |
