Promoting the development of biotechnology to protect the environment by 2030

The plan sets out two general goals: to develop a sustainable, environmentally friendly biotechnology industry, contributing to improving the quality of life and protecting the ecosystem. The specific goal is to apply biotechnology to produce waste treatment products in agriculture , industry, medicine and daily life, prioritizing recycling technology and recovering energy from waste.

To implement this plan, the province focuses on 4 groups of solutions. Specifically, promoting research and transferring waste treatment technology; calling for investment in biological product production lines. Perfecting policy mechanisms to encourage businesses to participate in production and commercialization of products. Cooperating with universities and research institutes to train biotechnology experts. Disseminating knowledge and new achievements in the biological industry to the community.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant departments such as the Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Finance, Departmentof Education and Training to coordinate in developing detailed plans, mobilizing resources and monitoring progress. Enterprises, organizations and individuals are encouraged to apply biotechnology in waste treatment.

It is expected that each year, the units will report the implementation results before November 30 to promptly adjust and ensure the achievement of the set goals. This plan demonstrates the province's determination to combine economic development with environmental protection, towards a sustainable future.
