At the reception, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh welcomed the Ambassador to Da Nang, and expressed his deep condolences to Thailand for the recent serious earthquake. Introducing to the Ambassador some outstanding policies of Da Nang city, especially the special mechanisms and policies for the city's development from the Central Government as well as the city's development potential in the future, the Chairman of the City People's Committee hoped that in the coming time, the Ambassador would actively connect and introduce Thai businesses and investors to Da Nang, strengthen cooperation in the fields of high technology, information technology, tourism , and boost export turnover between the two sides. Da Nang city always has open policies, creating the most favorable conditions for investors.

Ambassador Urawadee Sriphiromya thanked the city leaders for their warm welcome to the delegation. Expressing his good impressions of his first visit to Da Nang, the Ambassador said that the Embassy always closely follows the relationship between Da Nang and Thai localities. At the same time, he affirmed that he will do his best to promote the friendship and cooperation between the two sides, and proposed to organize a business forum in Da Nang so that Thai investors in Vietnam have the opportunity to learn more about new development strategies and preferential policies of the city, and to strengthen the teaching of Thai in Da Nang, to create conditions for tourism development in the future./.
