Hang En Waterfall is located in the upper reaches of the Con River, flowing from Gia Lai to Binh Dinh. Behind the stream is a cave with many swallows living. The name K50 refers to the height of the waterfall, which is more than 50 m. Hidden in a sacred forest, perhaps that is why the stream still retains its wild and majestic beauty. The best season to explore the waterfall is the dry season from March to June every year. At this time, the weather is sunny, there is no rain and the waterfall flows more smoothly.

From afar, the waterfall flows from the mountain to the stream, creating white foam like a giant, soft silk strip, across the forest. At the foot of the waterfall, the dark-colored rocks, eroded over many years, have different shapes. The beauty of K50 Waterfall is favored by many people who use beautiful phrases to name it, such as: "fairy in the Central Highlands", or "muse (fairy) in the Kon Chu Rang nature reserve", or silver silk in the green Central Highlands forest.

Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve has about 15,900 hectares of special-use forest, with a transitional ecosystem between the East and West regions of the Truong Son mountain range, so the flora and fauna are rich and diverse. There are over 10 waterfalls here, but the most beautiful and majestic is Hang En waterfall.

According to the experience of backpackers, to reach K50 waterfall, you have to go through a journey of nearly two days and nights through the forest, quite thorny, challenging with many difficulties and dangers. You can move from the center of Hoai Nhon district, Binh Dinh province towards Xuan Phong about 20km, then turn onto the road leading to An Toan commune, An Lao district about 5km and stop at milestone number 10. From here, you have to walk into the forest, taking about more than 3 hours, overcoming small winding roads, steep slopes, to see this majestic waterfall with your own eyes.
