In the warm atmosphere of Tet, on February 18, the Consulate General of Vietnam in San Francisco organized the Homeland Spring program to celebrate the Year of the Dragon 2024 in Orange County, California, USA.

This is the second Xuan Que Huong program during the traditional Tet holiday this year, after the success of the Xuan Que Huong program in San Francisco on February 4, 2024, and also the third consecutive year that the Consulate General of Vietnam in San Francisco has organized the Xuan Que Huong program in Orange County, California, the area with the largest concentration of overseas Vietnamese in the United States and in the world. More than 200 guests, including representatives of the Vietnamese community from cities in Southern California, along with a number of American and international friends with ties to Vietnam, attended the ceremony. Speaking at the ceremony, Consul General Hoang Anh Tuan was moved to thank the large presence of overseas Vietnamese and distinguished guests who attended and shared this event to celebrate together, remember the homeland, and the flavor of Tet that is very close and dear to every Vietnamese person. Reviewing Vietnam's outstanding economic and social achievements in 2023; the results of foreign affairs and people's diplomacy in 2023, the Consul General emphasized that the above achievements have significant contributions from the Vietnamese community in the United States in general and in California in particular, hoping that the Vietnamese community in the United States will continue to grow stronger, continue to be a bridge, and actively contribute to the development of Vietnam-US relations. In the warm atmosphere of the Tet reunion, the guests and overseas Vietnamese expressed their joy and emotion when meeting in a warm atmosphere imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity, enjoying many traditional Vietnamese Tet dishes and special cultural programs performed by the Vietnamese community and Vietnamese students studying in the United States.
