BTO-Train SE2 was traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi when it derailed at Song Phan - Suoi Van, causing the North-South railway line to be interrupted.
The incident occurred early this morning , June 14 , when train SE2 was traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. When it reached the Song Phan - Suoi Van section at Km1572 in Tan Lap commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, a carriage derailed from the rails. Fortunately, the incident did not cause any casualties.
After the incident, the railway industry mobilized rescue forces to urgently go to the scene to fix the problem . One team fixed the derailed part, another team repaired the rail and filled gravel on both sides of the rail to reinforce it . Currently, the repair is being urgently done to reopen the North - South railway line .
By 7:30 this morning, there were only 3 cars left at the scene, including the derailed car and 1 tractor. Moving to the scene of the accident also encountered some obstacles, because the road to the scene had to cross a dirt road with relatively difficult terrain . At Suoi Van station, 5km from the scene, train SE11 was also waiting and some trains running the North - South route were regulated to stop at Binh Thuan station and neighboring stations.
