In the announcement this afternoon, November 24, 911 Group Joint Stock Company (NO1) announced the resolution on electing a new chairman of the board of directors.
Accordingly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thom was elected to hold the position of Chairwoman of the company's Board of Directors for the remaining term of 2020-2025.
Ms. Thom is also the legal representative of 911 Group.
In addition, the Board of Directors of 911 Group unanimously elected Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh and Mr. Nguyen Manh Hai to hold the position of Vice President for the remaining term of 2020-2025.
The meeting to reorganize key personnel of the 911 Group's board of directors took place on November 23, one day after Mr. Luu Dinh Tuan, chairman of the board of directors, passed away.
According to the plan of this enterprise, on November 23, it will hold an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders.
Documents before the meeting show that the congress is expected to discuss and approve many important contents for the business such as dismissing and adding members to the board of directors, approving asset investment, amending internal regulations, increasing capital...
One notable content is that the board of directors will submit to shareholders for approval the signing of a contract for the purchase and sale of cars and battery rental services with VinFast Trading and Service Company Limited. The contract value is up to 500 billion VND, expected to take place in the second quarter of 2025.
911 Group has been mentioned more by the media recently after appearing at a meeting with 70 businessmen representing 50 car companies in the transportation sector in Hanoi last September by billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong.
At this event, Mr. Luu Dinh Tuan, the late chairman of the board of directors of 911 Group, shared the plan to develop a taxi service under the brand name "911 taxi" with the goal of developing more than 200 vehicles by the end of 2024, expanding to more than 2,200 vehicles by the end of 2025, initially focusing on Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces and then expanding to other regions and cities across the country.
