Possession of military weapons, criminal detention

On August 24, according to Thanh Nien reporter's source, Tu Nghia District Police (Quang Ngai) discovered a man illegally storing military weapons, preparing to take them to resolve a conflict.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Tu Nghia District has issued an order to detain the man in an emergency and temporarily detain him for illegal possession of military weapons.

Through inspection, the police discovered many firearms.

Previously, on August 23, the Investigation Police Agency of Tu Nghia District Police coordinated with Nghia Phuong Commune Police and related units to inspect a motel in Nang Tay 3 village, Nghia Phuong commune (Tu Nghia District).

Here, the police discovered that Mr. NVL (33 years old, residing in village 6, Duc Chanh commune, Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai) was illegally storing military weapons.

The discovered evidence included: 1 AR15 gun, 21 bullets, 1 homemade air gun, many lead bullets, 1 knife, 1 pair of pliers... and several other items.

Guns and ammunition were discovered during a search of the motel.

According to the initial investigation, Mr. L. confessed that he prepared the weapon to resolve a personal conflict, but before he could use it, the police discovered it.

The case of storing military weapons is being investigated and verified by the Investigation Police Agency of Tu Nghia District Police according to regulations.
