On the morning of September 2, the Hanoi Department of Tourism coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board to organize gift giving for visitors visiting the mausoleum during the National Day holiday of September 2.
The total number of gifts given to visitors on this occasion is 28,000, including cakes and drinks. The small gift bags are meaningful and warm spiritual gifts sent to each citizen and international visitor visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum during this year's holiday.
From early morning, drinking water and cakes were promptly transported to the gathering location by officers, employees and soldiers of the Hanoi Department of Tourism and the Mausoleum Management Board. According to Mr. Do Van Dung (64 years old, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi), the gift-giving activity of the Organizing Committee is very meaningful and practical for people during these holidays. "We highly appreciate the thoughtfulness of the organizing units" - Mr. Do Van Dung expressed.

It is known that from 2018 to present, Hanoi Department of Tourism has regularly coordinated with the Management Board of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to give gifts to people and tourists visiting the Mausoleum, which has since become an annual activity to support people and tourists on major holidays.
In 2024, the Hanoi Department of Tourism will give away 80,000 gifts including 1 bottle of water and 1 loaf of bread or 1 carton of milk and 1 loaf of bread to visitors visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on major holidays such as Southern Liberation Day, National Reunification Day (April 30); International Labor Day (May 1); President Ho Chi Minh's Birthday (May 19) and National Day (September 2).
According to the leader of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, this is a meaningful activity of the Hanoi Department of Tourism and the Mausoleum Management Board during major holidays, an act expressing the affection of Hanoians towards the people of the whole country and tourists visiting the capital. This activity also aims to promote and advertise tourist destinations, contributing to continuing to build the image of Hanoi as a "Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive" destination.
