On the morning of March 3, a representative of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) said that the Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 1 (Team 1) had just promptly stopped a person with a high alcohol concentration driving a motorbike on the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen highway.
Specifically, at around 10 p.m. on March 2, the Working Group of Team 1 was on duty on the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway when they discovered a motorbike driver with the license plate 20F1-047.XX traveling on the expressway. Using professional measures, the Working Group stopped the vehicle and identified it as being driven by Mr. TXQ (38 years old, residing in Dai Tu, Thai Nguyen).

The traffic police asked driver Q. to test his alcohol level, and the result was 0.699 mg/L of breath. This is a very high level of violation, 1.7 times higher than the maximum level of violation prescribed in Decree 100.
Speaking to the traffic police, driver Q. admitted that he had just consumed alcohol and was driving home when he was discovered and handled.
The traffic police team has issued a ticket to driver Q. for violations such as driving a motorbike on the highway and violating alcohol concentration. For these violations, driver Q. will be fined 9.5 million VND, have his driver's license revoked for 23 months and have his vehicle impounded for 7 days.
According to the representative of the Traffic Police Department, the behavior of driver Q. is very dangerous, with a high risk of traffic accidents when he used alcohol and beer while still driving, even going on a prohibited road.
