New compositions with new perspectives on Ho Chi Minh City were created by the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association and compiled in the song collection "Ho Chi Minh City - The City I Love", which has just been released.

Spread the proud melodies

The collection of 30 songs about the city named after Uncle Ho was invested in by the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association through creative campaigns, expressing pride in the city's development and innovation and the love for the homeland of the people of Ho Chi Minh City. The project was invested with 1,000 copies of the book along with a music video (including background music) released on digital platforms, aiming to spread the proud melodies of the city to music lovers.

Each song in the collection is a story, a diverse perspective on Ho Chi Minh City - a city of aspiration, creativity and constant development. Musician Nguyen Quang Vinh, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association, said that in parallel with the release of the song collection "HCMC - The City I Love", the association will also widely promote the product to achieve the desired spread. "The association will disseminate these songs through cultural and artistic activities of the units; on media such as Fanpage and Zalo digital transformation page, YouTube channel of the Ho Chi Minh City Music Association. Honoring historical values ​​and strong will

Towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, a series of unique art and cultural events will take place across the country, recreating the heroic memories of the nation and honoring the great historical value of the day of national reunification.

The special art program "Song of Victory" - a national symphony - chamber music concert held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, as a tribute to previous generations, a bridge connecting the past and the present, so that today's generation can cherish more the peace and freedom that we have. The program will take place at 8:00 p.m. on April 25, at the Au Co Art Center (Hanoi), divided into 3 parts: "Aspiration for Peace", "Song of Battle" and "Welcome to the Great Spring Victory" - like three chapters of an endless epic about the history of the nation.

Following the quiet sounds of separation is the stirring march, and finally the radiant melody of the joyful day of reunification. Each song, each concerto is not only music, but also a story, a memory, a pride of many generations. The concert with the participation of Meritorious Artist To Nga, Meritorious Artist Luong Huy, Meritorious Artist Truong Bac, artists Dao To Loan, Minh Duc, Vuong Long; conductor Le Phi Phi, and the National Symphony Orchestra - Vietnam National Music and Dance Theater, promises to be an epic recreating the historical milestones and heroic moments of the nation through the language of music.

The special art program "Memories of Truong Son", organized by the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater, taking place on April 27 at the Hanoi Opera House, will be a gathering place for heroic melodies and unforgettable memories of a glorious period in the nation's history. "Memories of Truong Son" brings together veteran artists who directly experienced the fierce years of war, along with talented young artists. People's Artist Thu Hien, People's Artist Thanh Hoa, People's Artist Quang Tho, and People's Artist Trung Duc will recreate songs that have accompanied the years, melodies that have become symbols of a glorious period in history.

Familiar songs that create a connection between the past and the present are performed by People's Artist Quoc Hung, People's Artist Pham Phuong Thao, People's Artist Hong Hanh, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Viet Danh, Thai Thuy Linh, Bao Yen (Sao Mai), Tien Hung, Trung Sy, Phuc Dai... The audience will relive historical moments through immortal melodies such as "Cau ho ben wharf Hien Luong", "Xa khoi", "Tinh ca", "Hello em co gai Lam Hong", "Bai ca khong quen", "Truong Son dong, Truong Son tay"... These songs are not only musical works, but also a part of history, expressing patriotism, bravery and indomitable will of the Vietnamese people.

The program "Spring of Reunification", hosted by the Department of Performing Arts, in coordination with the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet and related units, took place on the evening of April 29 in the area in front of the Reunification Hall (HCMC). The event gathered more than 1,000 artists and actors to bring a grand and meaningful music night. The program aims to preserve and promote traditional culture, combine tourism development and strengthen national solidarity. During the program, the audience will enjoy many attractive and meaningful art performances such as: "Hanoi - Hue - Saigon", "Fireworks Night", "Spring in Ho Chi Minh City", "At the two ends of nostalgia", "Liberation of the South", "Duong plowing duong dang", "Duong toi di dai duong da nuoc", "Xuan khu chinh", "Bai ca Ho Chi Minh", "Tien ve Sai Gon", "Dat nuoc toi nuoc" ...

Gathering up to 800 artists, the program "North-South Promise" took place on the evening of April 22 at My Dinh National Stadium (Hanoi). The audience will witness valuable documentary footage, in-depth reports, and touching scenes and musical performances at "North-South Promise". The event is a journey back to the heroic past, recreating the sacred promises made with blood, tears and loyalty of millions of Vietnamese people.

Through artistic performances, the program "Spring of Reunification" hopes to convey to all classes of people the love for the homeland, the country, national pride and revolutionary tradition under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam; comprehensively and deeply evaluate the country's development achievements in all fields after 50 years of national reunification, thereby proposing directions and tasks for national development in the new era.
