Topics on Party and government building, environmental protection, and green development have always been invested in by press agencies. Speaking at the ceremony, journalist Tran Trong Dung emphasized: “Every day we are provided with hot news, analysis - evaluation, objective and truthful comments on many issues in life, stories of love, or examples of strong will, so we appreciate more the passion and the enthusiastic work process of journalists. Because if it were not for the love of the profession, how many people could be steadfast and persistent in the profession.
At the same time, the Head of the Organizing Committee said: In the near future, in the context of the merger of provincial press agencies, in addition to difficulties and challenges, there will also be opportunities and chances for press development if we know how to take advantage of them. Localities have the conditions to focus on investing and providing more support to press agencies in terms of human resources, financial resources, equipment, especially related to digital infrastructure, shared databases, etc., overcoming the situation of scattered and ineffective investment. The area of operation of journalists will be wider, with more fields and more issues to write about.

Press agencies also have more opportunities to organize behind-the-scenes activities if they know how to take advantage of and exploit well the funding sources from social mobilization. Working in such conditions requires the Mekong Delta press to continue to train and foster modern and creative journalism skills for the team of journalists, actively transform digitally, and improve the digital capacity of the editorial office not only in production, but also in the distribution of press content. In particular, the development of online platforms, social networks and multimedia communications will help expand the scope of information access, increase interaction and feedback from the community and society.
The Association and editorial offices at all levels are interested in directing the implementation and selection of high-quality works to participate in major press awards such as the National Press Award, the Golden Hammer and Sickle Press Award, the Dien Hong Press Award and other regional press awards such as the Mekong Delta Press Award... It is also important to note that investment is being made in works participating in two new categories included in this year's National Press Awards: the Creative Press Award and the Multimedia Press Award.
