Quickly complete Binh Thuan province planning to submit to competent authorities

Here, the representative of the Binh Thuan Provincial Planning Consulting Joint Venture reported on the summary of the reception and explanation of the appraisal results of the Binh Thuan Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. Accordingly, after receiving the Appraisal Report of the Binh Thuan Provincial Planning Appraisal Council for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 (in mid-May 2023), the Consulting Joint Venture coordinated with the planning agency as well as the provincial agencies and units to organize research, reception and explanation of appraisal opinions.

Of the 94 comments requesting explanations, additions, and clarifications of some contents, the Department of Planning and Investment and consulting units divided the contents into groups of sectors and fields, determined the responsibilities of departments, sectors, and localities to coordinate and support the provision of information in order to promptly complete the reception and explanation as requested. For the appraisal comments requesting additional information, clarifying the planning contents without affecting or changing the planning scheme, arranging development space, etc., the Consulting Joint Venture coordinated to receive, explain, and update the additions to the provincial planning, ensuring to meet the requirements of the Appraisal Council. As for the appraisal comments requesting the addition or adjustment of planning schemes, the Consulting Joint Venture also reported to the Provincial People's Committee the plan to receive, adjust, and supplement.

At the meeting, leaders of districts - towns - cities in the province and related departments and branches participated in giving opinions, most of them agreed with the summary report of the results of reception and explanation of the Binh Thuan Provincial Planning Consulting Joint Venture. However, they also requested to study and clarify to unify the planning scope of the province's territorial waters, such as not including Phu Quy in the Marine Conservation Planning and correcting data of the sector and field according to current reality...

In his concluding remarks, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Doan Anh Dung said that the report summarizing the acceptance and explanation of the appraisal results of the Binh Thuan Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 by the consulting unit is basically complete. However, it is also necessary to actively coordinate the implementation of the next work to supplement and edit to complete the planning to be more convincing, in which it is important to carefully review and update, compare and supplement national plans to have consistent and synchronized data.
